A Place to Breathe

Our bushland property offers open space, quiet, and time — the three things that most neurodivergent people rarely get enough of. With walking trails through dry sclerophyll forest, rocky sandstone outcrops, and shaded rest areas, the site invites regulation through nature, not rules.

The facility includes sensory-adapted indoor spaces for art, woodworking, and skill-building, as well as an outdoor kitchen, gardens, and shaded decks for group sessions. Every area has been designed with ND comfort in mind: low lighting, natural airflow, flexible seating, and zero fluorescent glare.

ND-Led, Nature-Based

Every Thrive ND program is built from lived experience — by people who understand dysregulation, sensory burnout, and social fatigue first-hand. We believe that healing and learning happen best in environments that feel safe, flexible, and connected to the natural world.

Our team includes support workers, mentors, and practitioners who identify as neurodivergent. Together we provide spaces that balance structure with autonomy, and support with trust — from quiet art sessions to movement-based programs like Muay Thai.

Our Philosophy

Thrive ND operates on simple but powerful principles: respect the body, meet sensory needs first, and let curiosity guide learning. We believe in slow growth, humour, autonomy, and community as the foundations of wellbeing.

ND Affirming

We celebrate difference and support communication, regulation, and engagement in ND-friendly ways.

Trauma Informed

Every environment and interaction prioritises safety, trust, and choice.

Eco Connected

Nature isn’t an activity — it’s part of how we live, learn, and restore balance.

Community Driven

We value peer connection, co-regulation, and shared laughter as much as formal learning outcomes.

Visit or collaborate

We welcome visits from support coordinators, therapists, and educators interested in ND-affirming, nature-based approaches. Reach out to discuss partnerships, group bookings, or custom program development.
